He is survived by: his sons, Merlin Dakota (Melissa), Julius Hanks Jr., Trevor Hanks (Lisa) and Tristin Hanks (Alyssia); and his brothers, Charles Hanks Sr., Richard Hanks (Susan) and LeRoy. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
