He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lawrence and Irene Tibbetts (Thompson); his wife Jane; and his sisters, Clarice Murphy, Barbara Maas, Patricia Howard and Shirley Dunn.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Tibbetts Sr. (Rosella) of Ogema, Jeffrey Tibbetts (Jodi) of Ogema and Linda Oveido (Juan) of Leslie, MI; his grandchildren, Eugene Tibbetts Jr. (Lori), Brittany Tibbetts, Michael Tibbetts, Natalie Tibbetts, Kyle Tibbetts, Drayton Tibbetts, Juan Oveido Jr. and Justin Oveido; and his siblings, Clyde Tibbetts of Cass Lake, MN, Roscoe Tibbetts of Cass Lake, MN, Kenneth Tibbetts of Cass Lake, MN and Norma Knapczyk (Wayne) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
