He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Sherod and Bertha Sherod (Danielson); his son Michael Sherod; and his siblings, Lillian Haugerud, Marvin Sherod, Ernest Sherod and Clarence Sherod.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Sherod; his children, Lee Sherod, David Sherod (Lynn) of New London, MN, Beverly Cleveland (Kenneth) of Oak Harbor, WA, Darrell Sherod (Tanja) of Ortonville, MN, Marlene Sherod of LaVista, NE, Patty Sherod (Derek Nelson) of Alexandria, MN and Robert Sherod (Lori) of Odessa, MN; and his brother Wilbert Sherod of Ortonville, MN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
