He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Janzen Harder and Jacob J. Harder; his wife Joyce; and also, Theresa, Harry (Anna), Jacob (Estella), Anna (Marvin Nickel), Leo and Albert (Bessie).
He is survived by: his daughters, Madeleine Marquardt (Rod) and Gretchen Duerksen (Steve); his grandchildren, Raymund, Bryan, Nathan, Kendrick and Emily (Matt Batroot); his great grandchild Bronwen; his brother Lawrence; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy and Gladys. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
