It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Elda Haugen of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sverre and Clara; her husband Emil Haugen; her brothers, Norman (Helen) and Paul; her nephews, Douglas and Richard; and her niece Susan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberley of Stillwater, MN and Melody (Nick Fletcher); and her niece Anita Chichester (Dan). She is also survived by great nieces and nephew; great-great nieces and nephew; and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Lakeview Health Foundation in care of Hospice 927 Churchill Street West Stillwater, MN 55082 and Caledonia Cemetery Fund 211 Main Street Caledonia, ND 58219.
