He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Plefkey; his sister Ina Lee; and his grandsons, Chris and Erik. He is survived by: his children, Charles, Matthew MD (Jane MD), Kimberly Anderson-Uzpen MD and Duncan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
