He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis; and his son-in-law John Sailhamer. He is survived by: his children, Patty Sailhamer, Judy Nowlin and Steve (Linda); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Nowlin (Mandy), David Sailhamer, Elizabeth "Betsy" Soukup (Jason), John Sailhamer (Kelly), Peter Sailhamer (Angela), Amy Cryer (Tim), David Engdahl and Emily Engdahl. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
