Astrid Brown Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Astrid Brown of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmanuel Svedlund and Vendla Svedlund (Johnson); her grandson Brian Schimpf; her husband Frank Brown; and her siblings, Joel, Margaret, Esther, Helen and Alicia.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Linnea (Christina Baldwin) of Freeland, Washington, Susan Lynch (Stewart) of Phoenix, Arizona, Kathy Harrington (John) of Stillwater, Minnesota and Margaret Brown (Charlie Parsons) of Brevard; and her grandchildren, Frank Jonas Parsons, Sally Schimpf (Joe Villarreal), Anna (Ted Keefe), Molly (Chad Hilgenberg), Joel (Anne Harrington), Heather (Brock Lindsay), Lisa (Marcus McBeth), Erica (Jon Geib), Kyle (Scott Anderson), James (Erin Lynch), Shannon (Nick Schneider) and Ian (Ashley Lynch). She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Brian Schimpf Scholarship for paramedic students at Denver Health Foundation, 601 Broadway, MC 0111, Denver, CO 80203.
