She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Hesse and Mary Hesse (Raschka); her husband Gene Flaig; her siblings, Donald (Elaine Hesse), Gerald (Rose Hesse) and Joan Schlumpberger; and her brother-in-law Vernon Flaig (Marge).
She is survived by: her children, Barb Hennings (Barry) of Los Altos, CA, Julie Hibbard (Terry) of New Ulm, Mark Flaig (Elsa) of Naerbo, Scott Flaig (Linda) of Buffalo, Mary Kay Burns (Bob) of Hopkins, Michelle Thompson (Matt) of Highland Village, TX and Chris Flaig (Kelly) of Roseau; her grandchildren, Cory Pforzheimer (Julie), Lucas Pforzheimer (Katherine), Jon Hibbard (Jaci), Cassandra Hibbard, Amber Eichten (Dan), Leah Ulvang (Ole Martin), Marcus Flaig, Julia Flaig, Sarah Latham (Rob), Michael Flaig (Bless), Matthew Flaig, Wesley Rasmussen (Kendra), Aaron Rasmussen, Nicole Rasmussen, Joshua Thompson, Jessica Thompson, Kaitlin Thompson, Kaleb Thompson, Kiana Flaig, Kiersten Flaig and Cooper Flaig; her great grandchildren, Emma, Brady, Aubrey, Avery, Lennon, Ryken, Bexley, Kelsie, Mina, Genevieve, Cecelia, Michael and Elizabeth; and her sister Mary Ann Graeve (Jim) of St. Joseph. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
