Rain of Norwood Young America, Minnesota, born in Winona, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 73, on October 23, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Rain and Lillian Rain (Gudmundson); his siblings, Carol (Don Kieffer), Barbara (Stan Jensen) and Leland Rain; and his father-in-law Harvey Schmidtke.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Rain; his daughters, Karen (Paul Hallquist) and Kari (Paul Anderson); his grandchildren, Auna Hallquist, Laya Hallquist, Lauren Anderson and Asher Anderson; his brother Willard; his mother-in-law Delores Schmidtke of Owatonna; his siblings-in-law, Dennis, Chris Schmidtke of Dilworth, Lou Ann and Paul Dierkhising of Park Rapids; and his close friend Ole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
