He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Lano and Elizabeth Lano; his wife Virginia "Sis" Lano; his son Terrance Lano; and his siblings, Cecilia Maiser (Ray), Francis Lano, Joseph Lano Sr. (Audrey), Barbara Doyle (John), Leonard "Dick" Lano (Delphine), Gerhard "Hauser" Lano (Donna), Marie "Mickey" Henk (Dick) and Bernard Lano (Mercedes).
He is survived by: his daughter Victoria Zebell (Gary) of Cologne; his daughter-in-law Joanne Lano (John Lyngdal) of Eden Prairie; his grandchildren, Joshua Zebell (Allison), Jill Weinand (Dan), Nathan Lano (Michelle), Meta Webb (Richard) and Jamie Zebell; his great grandchildren, Justin Govrik (Maddie), Jacob Weinand, Alyssa Zebell, Jesse Weinand, Samuel, Corbett Webb, Raynah and Gavin Volkenant; his great great grandchild Levi Govrik; and his sister-in-law Rebecca Lano. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (215 W 2nd St, Chaska, MN 55318). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
