She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshal E. Pendergast and Marian E. Pendergast (Stouffer); her son Beaver; her brothers, Gene, Roger and Mike Pendergast; and her brother-in-law Raymond Petersen.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Petersen; her children, Doug Petersen, Mark Petersen and Jary Schuller (Rick); her grandchildren, Josh, Benjamin (Brooke), Dayton Asmus (Leah), Joey, Ruthie and Travis Petersen (Rebekah); her great grandchild Broen; and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Pendergast, Linda Polzin, Barb Eastman and Donald Petersen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.
