He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Elizabeth Augusta; and his children, Dawn Elizabeth and Andrew John. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Yvonne Elkins; his children, Bill (Marilee) of Columbia, SC, David (Heather) of Northfield, Daniel (Rachelle) of Roanoke, VA and Debi Hay of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Grayson, Erik (Robyn Doughty), Oskar, Anna, Sadie, Corina, Faith, Reese and Jamie; and his siblings, Ronald (Debbie) of Walnut Grove and Phyllis Zumach (Allen) of St. Paul. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
