It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Andrew Johnson (Northfield, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on June 22, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore Johnson and Catherine Frances Johnson (Stremel); and his sister Emily Schmitz. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Cox Johnson; his daughter Mattie Eagle (Robby); his grandchildren, Jace and Astrid; his daughter Lauren Giroux (Brandon); his grandchildren, Miles, Dominic and Norah; his son Tad Johnson (Lindsey); and his granddaughter Colette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His preference was that instead of flowers memorials would serve others including Northfield Community Action Center, Healthy Communities Initiative, HealthFinders Collaborative, Rice County United Way, Harvard Law School Fund, Mayo Clinic, or donor's choice. At his request Bill's body was donated to Mayo Clinic for teaching.
