It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas D. Brodin of Northfield, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brodin and Esther Heiges; and his siblings, Ralph Brodin, James Brodin, Alan Brodin (Ruth) and Catherine Warhol (Pete).
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ellen Gustafson of Northfield; his wife Mary Ann "Mickey" Matson; his children, Dan Brodin of Eden Prairie, Bill Brodin of Northfield and Beth Smith of Lakeville; his stepdaughters, Kim Ness (Terry) of Lonsdale and Karen Kimber (Glen) of Northfield; his grandchildren, Ashley Brodin, Cassandra Brodin, Alec Smith, Nicole Hudgins (Brad) and Tanner Kimber (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Hudgins, Roman Hudgins and Kennedy Kimber; his brother Steve Brodin; and his brothers-in-law, Lyle Matson and Fran Matson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the Hemophilia Association of Minnesota, St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Parkinson's research.
