Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Steve Nelson of Northfield, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 69, on February 8, 2023. He was predeceased by: his father Rueben Nelson; and his nephew Matthew. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Nelson (Swenson) of Northfield; his former spouses, Gail Nelson and Karen Estrem; his children, Jaime Remington (Mike) of Lakeville, Carrie Nelson (Justin Brown) of Anchorage, Christa Nelson of Rosemount, Christopher "Kip" Nelson, Jennifer Mahoney (Jeff) of Lakeville and Kelly Nelson (Jason Thompson) of Lonsdale; his grandchildren, Carson, Emma, Reese, Cooper, Dylan, Alexis, Madilynn, Fallon and Duke; and his brothers, Dale (Joan) of Dennison, Mark (Lorie) of Northfield and Bryan (Stacy) of Northfield. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials are preferred to Sons of the American Legion.
