It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Openshaw of Northfield, Minnesota, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Openshaw and Beatrice Openshaw (Harton); and his brother Edwin. He is survived by: his wife Leona; his children, Olivia of Indianapolis and Evan of Atlanta; his brothers, William, Andy (Jenny) and Joseph (Bobby Prince) of Bessemer, AL; and his sister-in-law Carol of Florida. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials are preferred to Northfield Public Library, Carleton College arboretum, or Northfield First United Church of Christ.
