She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Odden and Deloris Odden (Roeder); her siblings, Gerald, Dick, Jeannie, Charles and Janette; and her daughter-in-law Shannon Kisgen.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Dougherty; her children, Debbie Shepersky of Wasilla, AK, Julie Kisgen-Nyberg (James) of Rochester, Allen Kisgen of Kensington and Sheryl Rother of Clinton; and her siblings, Linda, Joe, Alfred, DeLois, Mary Lou and Ervin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
