He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph and Bernice Kay Willems (Johnson); and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kay Goettl; his children, Chris (Toni) of St. Francis, Dawn Winkels (Timothy) of Northfield and Tammy of Northfield; his grandchildren, Parker, Codey, Alex and Faith; and his siblings, Jim (Donna) of Sioux City, IA, Kenny (Patty) of Kenova, WV, Jylan Matteson (Reid) of Apache Junction, AZ and Shelly Albers of Madison, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Church of Saint Dominic, the American Cancer Society, and Gift of Life Transplant House.
