He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell and Margaret Mitchell (Hanson). He is survived by: his wife Gladys Schaufenbuel; his children, Laura Conrad (Michael) of Mounds View and Steven (Rebecca) of Phoenix; his grandsons, Jackson, Andrew Conrad and Oliver Mitchell; and his sister Mary Swegle (Al) of Cedar Rapids, IA.
