It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Amundson of Northfield, Minnesota, born in Starbuck, Minnesota, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Amundson and Alva Amundson (Bloomquist). He is survived by: his wife Martha Zempel; his children, Brian (Annie), Leah Blocker (Matthew) of Eden Prairie and Matthew (Beckie) of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Paisley, Tenley Amundson, Nathan and Luke Blocker; and his sisters, Mary Ann Hedglin of Sauk Centre, Eloise Erickson (Donald) of Starbuck, Linda Larson (Loel) of Kandiyohi and Wanda Haberer of Ashby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private celebration of life will be held in summer of 2021.
