He was predeceased by: his father Don; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Laurel True; his stepdaughter Laurel True-McCarthy (Jake Rudegeair); his siblings, Susan Smith (Andy), Brian Kerrigan (Lisa) and Kevin Kerrigan; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Doherty, Michael True (Kerry), John True (Mary Julie), Christopher True (Angie Riley), Betsy True (Brian Keiney) and Anne True (Laurie Toll). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Northfield Community Action Center's free organic farmers market or The Hook and Ladder Theater.
