She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey G. Schmidtke and Laurinda Schmidtke (Pommeranz); and her siblings, Carol Matthies and Ronald Schmidtke. She is survived by: her husband David Gene Downhour; her children, Douglas (Denise), Julie of Hastings and Steven (Carol); her grandchildren, Denna, Drew (Sarah), Samuel, Carly and Alyssa; and her sister Marlys Bauer of Faribault. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church Northfield or Northfield Hospital.
