He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Rempe and Elizabeth M. Rempe (Kinkelaar); his wife Shirley A. King; his daughter Erika; and his brothers, Tim, Jim and Robert Rempe.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Rempe (Stephanie) of Minnetonka, Austin Rempe of Baxter, MN and Hannah Rempe of Baxter, MN; and his grandchildren, Michael, Sylas and Elias. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters.
He served for many years on the donation and funding request committee and served as that committee's chairman in 2012.
