She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Anna Smith (Frey) of Homer, Nebraska.; her husband Merle; and her siblings, George Smith, Leon Smith, Fay Smith, Kurtzy Smith, Harold Smith, Desmond Smith, John Smith, D. B. Smith, Glenn Smith, Alice Brooks, Lily Rose Gordon, Iola Ronnfeldt and Annabelle Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Fremouw of St. Paul, Tommie Fremouw of Rosemount, Jon Fremouw (LeeAnn) of Eden Prairie, Susan Barry (Wayne) of St. Paul, Patricia Fremouw (Anthony Moore) of Minneapolis and Kathleen Hauser (Ronald) of Apple Valley. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
