It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luverne Edstrom (Northfield, Minnesota), born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Edstrom and Dorothy Edstrom (Westerson); his brother Gene; his mother-in-law Annette Kaarevik Chester; his stepfather-in-law Robert Chester; his brother-in-law Robert Kaarevik; his son-in-law Don Fritz; and his nephew Ryan Edstrom.
He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Kaarevik; his children, Kevin of Deerwood, Keith (Sue) of Eagle Lake, Karla Peterson (Gary) of Wautoma, Kreg (Jeanne Monse) of Aitkin, Kristin of Mesa and Kyle of Northfield; his brothers, John (Ruth) of Burke and Merle (Ruth) of Dennison; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Edstrom of Luverne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
