He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Railson; and his brother-in-law Steve Railson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Railson; his children, Pat (Reanna) of Northfield, Jana Filipak (Joe) of Northfield, Greg of Hopkins and Claire of Northfield; his grandchildren, Raina, Dani and Walker; his sisters, Jane Currer (Ron) of Dennison, Kaye Johnson (Charlie) of Rochester, Charleen McCracken (Michael) of Silver Bay and Marilyn Hanson (Tim) of Northfield; and his in-laws, Sharon Tengwall (Kent) of Sauk Centre, Kristie Farran (Chris) of Farmington, Kathy Railson of Fairfax and LuAnn Railson of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Vang Lutheran Church (2060 County 49, PO Box 117, Dennison, MN 55018).
