It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Rud of Northfield, Minnesota, born in Webster, Minnesota, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Rud and Alice Rud (Sandmann); his wife Joyce Lorraine Schultz; his daughter Laurel; and his siblings, Edwin, Willard and Ardis Jenkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Aarsvold (David) of Lindstrom, Cynthia Bloomquist (Mark) of Kathleen, GA, Debora Santillo of Fridley, Sharon Gunder (Dirk) of Stillwater, Holly Tremble (John) of Hudson and Suzanne Rud of Coon Rapids. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to the Northfield Retirement Community.
