She was predeceased by: her grandparent New Richland; her parents, Enoch Root and Irene Root (O'Riley); her close friend Ted Matz; and her siblings, Leta Clemons, Lowell, Lyndel and Lester Root.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Clough (Alan) of Eland, WI and Laura Stiernagle (Scott) of Ladysmith, WI; her stepdaughter Connie Jordan (John) of ReHoboth, MA; and her brothers, Leland Root of Waseca and Lyle Root (Sharon) of Waseca. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Congregational Church (503 2nd Ave NE, Waseca, MN 56093). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
