She was predeceased by: her brother Harold Vang. She is survived by: her former husband Donald Paul Hammer; her sons, Don (Tina) of Lutsen, MN, Tom (Lauri) of Tulsa, OK and John (Carla) of Claremore, OK; and her sisters, Mary Detlie of Northfield, MN and Kathy Vang of Dundas, MN.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
