He is survived by: his sons, Joseph E. of Minnetonka and Michael T. (Angie) of Faribault; his grandchildren, Dillon and Maddie; his mother Evelyn Smisek of Minnetonka; his siblings, Thomas P. Smisek (Michele) of River Falls, WI, Quentin Smisek (Nancy) of Minneapolis and Karen Popovich (Thomas) of Eden Prairie; and also, Lauren Zwicky (Harper) of Minneapolis and Thomas W. Smisek of Madison, WI.
