He was predeceased by: his mother Bess Montag; and his sister Mary Jean. He is survived by: his daughters, Alison of Faribault and Michelle Hoenshell (Eric) of Yukon, OK; his grandchildren, Dakota Teasdale and Asher Hoenshell; his close friend Dianne Olsen; his sister Sally (James Davis) of Apple Valley, CA; his nephew Shane Montag (Kelly) of Apple Valley, CA; and his great-nephews, Dylan Montag and Tyler Engel.
