She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Jacobson and Marie Jacobson (Olson); her husband Bob (Bob); and her sister Ruth Helgeson (John). She is survived by: her children, Mark (Claudia), Nancy, Fredric (Debra) and Susan Nelson (Scott); her grandchildren, Andrea (Moriah), Matthew Nelson (Jessica), Maren Henderson (Paul), Jessica Burns (Jacob), Elizabeth Huppertz (Mike), Nathan, Molly Britson (Jared), Hannah (Luke) and Amy Heraly (Thomas); and her great grandchildren, Camden, Otto, Penelope, August, Margot, Birdie, Tula, Audrey, Arlo and Bergen.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Gelle Family Endowed Scholarship fund at St. Olaf College or to St. John's Lutheran Church in Northfield.
