James William Burns Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Burns of Northfield, Minnesota, born in Sargeant, Minnesota, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burns and Florence Burns (Heydt); his wife Margene "Marge" Anderson; his son Warren; his daughter-in-law Michele Burns; and his siblings, Marlyn and Dorothy Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Landon (Jeff) of Brainerd, Lorie Tuma (Robert) of Northfield, Randy Burns (Sue) of Omaha, NE and Jim Burns (Tina) of St. Paul; and his siblings, Erling (Irene) of Rochester, Carlton (Deanna) of Stewartville and Donna Hansen of Sargeant. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Community Action Center of Northfield, 1651 Jefferson Pkwy HS-200, Northfield, MN 55057 or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
