She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gruber and Mary Gruber (Crawford); her husband Austin Dominic Silkey; her siblings, Louis, George, Jack Gruber, Marie McDonald, Anna Huss and Alice Langer; and her children, David, Colleen, Maureen, Wayne and Joseph.
She is survived by: her sister Irene Green; and her children, Ronald, Jeannine, John, Geniece, William, Christopher, Sheldon, Nora, Paul and Mariabeth. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
The family prefers that donations be directed to Ruth's House in Faribault in memory of Grace.
