It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerhart Knutson (Northfield, Minnesota), born in Goldfield, Iowa, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunner Knutson and Gertrude Knutson (Thorsheim); his wife Gloria Mortensen; and his siblings, Kent, Anne Kanten and Mildred Knutson.
He is survived by: his children, Lori of Eden Prairie, MN, Steven (Nancy) of Plymouth, MN and Paul (Debbie) of Beldenville, WI; his grandchildren, Kaleb Spieker (Lindsey Radle), Kristine Dixon (Nathan) and Jon Robert Knutson (Becca Erickson); his stepgrandchildren, Melissa, Jessica and Joseph Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Kaydence Larkins-Speiker, Kiya Spieker and Zoey Dixon. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church and St. Olaf College.
