He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Stromley and Phyllis Stromley (Person). He is survived by: his wife Janette; his sons, Anders (Samantha Glueck) of Grand Rapids and Karl of Northfield, Minnesota; and his siblings, Dale (Becky) of Glencoe, Don (Patricia) of Altoona, Iowa, Leslie Wilkinson (David) of Hector and Jean Thielke (Jon Moreland) of Hector. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
