He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Ebling (Gilligan) of Virginia and Robert Fern Ebling; his former spouse Abby Stringer; his son Andy; his friends, Gary Cook, Butch Rodewald, Lori Noreen, Charlie Jacobson, Al Olson and Fred Bones; his wife Eelen; his children, Andrew (Katie) and Abby; his grandson Andrew; his siblings, Kurt Ebling and Nancy Sabin; and also, August, Henry, Ada, June, Otto and Ari.

The family requests that any memorials be made out to Bridgewater Township for donations to their Storm Cleanup Fund.
