He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Krenik and Emma C. Krenik (Sticha); his sister Adeline; his brother-in-law Jack Mracek; his son-in-law Jim Bruck; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Helgerson, Don Rezac, Chet Kondziolka, Onalee (Roger Zimmerman) and Kay Helgerson.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Helgerson of Randolph; his sons, David Krenik (Dena) of Colorado and Douglas Krenik (Chris) of Colorado; his stepchildren, Cheryl Bruck of Eagan and Bradley Garnes (Bonnie) of Eagan; his grandchildren, Sydney, Lauren and CoraRose Krenik; his stepgrandchildren, DaNae Ticey (Jeremy), Brady (Annika), Calvin, Abby and Chloe Garnes; his great grandchild Malik Ticey; his sisters, Darlene Rezac of Lonsdale and Irene Valek (George) of Prior Lake; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Helgerson of Lake City, Patti Kondziolka of Fridley, Lyle Helgerson of Stone Mountain, GA and Robert Helgerson (Frieda) of Randolph. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of St Dominic (104 Linden St N, Northfield, MN 55057). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Church of St. Dominic or St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Randolph.
