We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2020, at the age of 84, Eugene Willard Nelson of Northfield, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Willard Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Nelson and Ollie Nelson; his sister Nancy; and his siblings-in-law, Gary and Irma.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his sons, David, Danny (Naomi), Darrel, John and Andy (Isabella); his siblings-in-law, Donald Baasch, Fred Walker, Ronald Schultz and Carolyn Baasch; and his grandchildren, Malissa Rogers, Brandon Nelson, Michael Nelson and Matthew Nelson. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Due to current restrictions in place because of the coronavirus, a celebration of Gene's life will be held at a later date next year.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Northfield, MN.
