He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Buchta and Anna Buchta (Svien); and his brother Roger Buchta. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Buchta; his children, Billy Buchta and Mellissa Buchta (Marcus Dick) of Northfield; his grandchildren, Christian, Cole and Shelby Steinberg; his siblings, Larry Buchta (Shari) of Dennison, Marlys Buchta of Montclair, CA, Linda Grant of Carman, Manitoba and Nancy Pleschourt (Lloyd) of Northfield; and his sister-in-law Suncha of Nerstrand. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
