With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David C. Halvorson of Northfield, Minnesota, born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on September 19, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agnes Marion Cecil Gandrud and Victor Deidrick Halvorson; his wife Joan Carol Halvorson; his children, Mark Halvorson, Eric Halvorson (Anne-Mette), Kari Pendergast (Mark) and Lisa Silkey; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Bjorn, Peter Halvorson, Emma, Anna Silkey, Marta and Annika; and his daughters, Sonja Pendergast and Lily Halvorson.
