He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Adolph O. Garlie and Marion Alice Garlie (Perra); his grandson Sawyer; and his brothers, Steven, Wayne and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Peterson; his children, Mark of Northfield, Matt (Leah) of Northfield, Suzanne Keuler of Waukesha, WI and David Jr. (Holly) of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Prescott, Emerson, Clayton, Rhett, Jacob, Ava, Brody and Lincoln; and his siblings, Tom of Florida, Marianne Moe (Tim) of Alexandria and Ginger of Stillwater. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bierman, Benson & Langehough Funeral Home & Crematory (1316 Division St S, Northfield, MN 55057).
