He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Almen and Lillian Almen (Thomas); and his siblings, Lillian (Orlando), Marjorie'Midge' and Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Almen; his children, Carl (Gail), Timothy (Debra) and Pamela (Jim); and his grandchildren, Michelle (Apple), Melinda (Mike), Derek (Stephanie), Bethany (Zach), Jonathan, Katynka (Joe), Caleb (Anna), Victoria (Matt), Noah, Justin (Rachel), Blake, Britnee (Zach), Jesika (Dustin) and Leigha. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; as well as his nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends.
