Anne Falvey Riggs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anne Falvey Riggs in Northfield, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne Falvey Riggs to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Falvey and Cecile Williams Falvey; her daughter Michèle; her siblings, Mary Kamish, Marge Falvey and William Falvey; and her brother-in-law Daniel Kamish.
She is survived by: her husband Bill (Bill); her children, Pete Riggs of Glendale, AZ and Joy Riggs; her children-in-law, Steve Lawler (Northfield) of Northfield, Louisa Lawler (Annalise Hollosy), Sebastian Lawler (Jordan Fields) and Elias Lawler (Nameera Dawood); her grandchildren, Kayci Riggs, Lauren Riggs, Sam Riggs and A. J. Riggs; and her sister-in-law Connie Falvey of St. Paul.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (221 7th Ave W, Alexandria, MN 56308). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Douglas County Relay for Life, the Hospice of Douglas County, or to the church.
