It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Nelson (Northfield, Minnesota), who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Nelson and Oline Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Goodwin and Andrew Boyum. He is survived by: his wife Imogene Nelson (Boyum) of Northfield; his daughters, Kirsten Johnson (Jeffrey) of Sudbury, Berit (Jeffrey Schmidt) of St. Paul and Sigrid (Daniel Schonebaum) of Faribault, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Matthew Johnson of St. Paul, Nathaniel Johnson of Boston, Otto (Anna Schmidt) and Marta (Henry Schonebaum); his brother Glenn Nelson (Jane Borelli) of Decorah, IA; and his brother-in-law Kenley Boyum of Plymouth, MN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
