He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Swanson and Grace Swanson; and his brothers, Gene and Howard Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, David (Laura) and Marty (Angela); his grandchildren, Amanda Olimb (Kirk) and Nicholas Swanson (Maddie Del Castillo); and his brother-in-law Dan Crouch (Mary Wagner).
