He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Arthur Mahnke and Marie Mahnke; and his siblings, Edna, Arthur and Lois.

He is survived by: his brother Kenny (Wanda); his children, Steve, Gary (Stacy) and Lynne Townley (Roger); his grandchildren, Jason, Kassandra and Cody; and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Gage and Julian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
