He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Anna Honl; his siblings, Andrew, Donald (Maggie), Harold (Jan), Gene, Junette Willprecht (Donald) and Betty; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda and David Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Jean (Gode); his children, Kristen, Darren (Laura) and Kevin (Emily); his grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, Natalie, Elijah, Gabriel and Ellarie; his siblings, LaVerne, Larry (Penny), Barbara Buske (Roger) and Connie Hansen; and his sister-in-law Norma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (4101 Washington St NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
