He was predeceased by: his father Francis Fitterer. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Fitterer (Goettl); his siblings, Mary Kay Uphoff (Craig), Sharry Gasperlin (Paul), Jim Fitterer (Bobbi) and Chad Fitterer (Pam); and his nieces and nephews, Kayla Tackmann (Vaughn), Lindsey Hove (Kyle), Mariah Uphoff (Mitch), Jenna Uphoff, Luke Gasperlin (Jackie), Amy Gasperlin, Katelyn Gasperlin, Elena Fitterer, Gabi Fitterer, Ben Fitterer, Emily Fitterer and Sam Fitterer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, or Mayo Hospice.
